While I am unpacking boxes I listen to audio books. The current book is The Brass Verdict by Michael Connelly and it is a meeting of Harry Bosch and The Lincoln Lawyer. If you like Connelly, you'll love it. Two great characters. Any Connelly book is worth the price, but this one is really a cliff hanger. I'm not usually surprised by the endings, but he got me on this one. I don't want to put a spoiler in this blog so I won't say more since this is a new offering.

This is my first blog and I hope to express some thoughts about retiring, downsizing, approaching a new stage in life and find some humor in it all. If I say anything that brings a smile to any one's face it will be worth the risk of humiliation at attempting this new effort (even if I wind up with egg on mine). It is basically for the geezers! I got started by accident. I was looking at pictures of Argentina (because I have been reading about Argentina) and found a blog by a young family starting out on a wonderful adventure. I wanted to post a note to their site and had to sign up so I figured what the heck, I might as well give it a try. I remember some of those big adventures when we were a young family but no blogging back then. I remember when our first phone was installed and letters took weeks to arrive. What a great age. Instant communication! Winston is IM me right now about going out for a walk so no more for now. Agathamae
